Sítio dos Tucanos was built in 1984, when it was really hard to find accommodations in Florianópolis. At first it was built to just be a house for the owners' family. A few years after years construction, they decided to transform the building into a guesthouse. During the improvements that the accommodations went through, they always tried to preserve the beautiful environment that surrounds all of the area. Today they have three different types of accommodations, all of them quite simple and cozy.
In addition to all the facilities below, they can also arrange tours for whale-watching and boat trips to some little islands.

- One child under 5 years old is free of charge. More than one child pays a tax that should be negotiated at booking.
- Children aged six to ten years are charged 50 reais per child.
- Cancellations should be made at least 3 days prior to the the check-in date. The amount paid as deposit won´t be returned.
- No show incurs a payment of one daily rate.
